No longer existing in name, York Street ran about two blocks east-west from Leverett Avenue east to about Gregg Avenue on a line with Cleveland and Prospect Streets.
The western part of it became Cleveland Street when the two were joined and the part east of Scull Creek became part of Prospect Street.
It was mentioned as early as 1861 and survived as a street name into the early 20th century.
