Fayetteville’s population had reached 17,000 by the time this post card was printed, circa 1950-1955. The Education Wing at left was built in 1950 and is still standing as part of First Baptist Church at the corner of Dickson Street and College Avenue, although the sanctuary with its dome and neo-classical style was razed in 1958 to allow construction of a new larger sanctuary. The photo was by Green Photo Service and published by S&S News Agency of Fort Smith, Arkansas. It was printed by Curteich of Chicago as a “C.T. Art Colortone” post card.
