Agriculture Buildings

Four views of agricultural buildings on the University of Arkansas campus were included on this post card. Clockwise from upper right are the Dairy Building, the original Agriculture Hall, the Infirmary Building and the Agricultural Experiment Station. Only the Agriculture Hall, now called the Agriculture Annex, is still standing on the campus, although its brick exterior was painted white in 1940. Postmarked in 1908 on the Monett and Paris line, the card was addressed to Miss Madge Shellenberger of 414 Emmit Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan. It reads: "Know you are having a perfectly delightful time We are attending Chautauqua daily — Other than that nothing doing — Love to each of you. Lillian"
