Beno Neal, 65, of Fayetteville died in a local hospital Friday [Nov. 30, 1973]. He was born May 4, 1908, at Fort Smith, the son of Henry and Hazel Johnson Neal, and was a retired porter and bartender. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Fort Smith and was a member of St. James Baptist Church.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Helen Neal, and a son, James H., both of the home; and two grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. James Baptist Church with burial in Oak Cemetery under the direction of Nelson’s Funeral Home.
