Elizabeth Drake Dies At Fayetteville Home
Elizabeth Drake, 60, 303 East Mountain Street, and lifelong Negro resident of Fayetteville, died at her home Saturday. She was the daughter of Eli and Narcissus Campbell Peel, and the widow of George Drake, who died a number of years ago.
Survivors are her daughters, Alberta Woods and Roberta Weaver, both of Fayetteville; one sister, Julia Berry of Fayetteville; a brother, Albert Peel of Little Rock; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were to be held this afternoan at 3 o’clock at St. James Methodist Church af which she was a member, by the Rev. A.L. Buchanan, pastor. Burial was to be in the Oak Grove cemetery.
