Mrs. J.S. Read Is Called by Death
Mrs. Emily Roberts Read, wife of Dr. J.S. Read, living one mile northwest of Fayetteville died at noon today as a result of paralysis with which she was stricken about one week ago. Until yesterday when there was a change for the worse, Mrs. Read was considered improving.
Mrs. Read was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, February 28th, 1842. She was a daughter of Thomas Roberts and Emily Bonifice Roberts.
Dr. and Mrs. Read have resided on their faim near Fayetteville for the past twenty-one years and have many friends throughout this entire section who will mourn Mrs Read’s death.
The funeral services will be held from the family residence at 3:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon, after which the remains will be shipped to Saint Lous for cremation at the Missouri Crematory.
The deceased is survived by her husband Dr. J.S. Read, by three
daughters Miss Florida Read
of Fayetteville, Mrs. Ashleigh Boles of Springfield, Missourt, Mrs. Look Panama City, and Mr. Alex Read of Galveston, Texas.
