Mrs. Angie Thatch Cravens was born March 7th, 1879, and died Sept 10th, 1904. She went with her husband, George Cravens, to Califorina, two years ago; but being afflicted with consumption, they returned last spring where she could be with friends and relatives near Son’s Chapel. She appeared to be better and went to Fayetteville on Wednesday but was taken worse Thursday and died on Saturday, at the home of her father. The funeral was on Sunday, the writer conducting the services, and the burial was in the Skelton Cemetery. Her babe preceded her about four weeks, and a little four year oid girl survives to console the husband and father. Mrs. Thatch was converted when fifteen years of age and joined the Methodist church. She remained a faithful Christian and was prepared to go. May the afflicted father, sisters, brothers and husband all be prepared to be welcomed by her at the portals “where the angels come and go.”
