The funeral of John A. Kemp who died at Mt. Vermon, Mo., took place at the residence of his parents on East Mountain this afternoon at 3 o’clock. Revs. Lawson and Davies conducted
the services.

John Kemp, an old Fayetteville boy who used to work for C.E. Watson, died Monday (August 17, 1903) at Verona, Mo. His body came in on the noon train yesterday, and the interment will take place today. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.
