Mrs. Elizabeth Crawford died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. Gallaher, on the 8th of August and was buried at Son’s Chapel on the following Sunday. Many friends and a large concourse of people attended the burial. We will all miss Grandma Crawford. She had been in the neighborhood for over fifty years.
She was born in 1825 in Independence County, Arkansas, and was reared in this state. She was a member of the Methodist Protestant church and was a
faithful and true Christian.
While it is the lot of her precious children to lose her, it has been
Heaven’s eternal gain.
The hoary head is a crown of glory when it is found in the way of
righteousness.
