Savannah Grace Parker passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 19, 2026, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love, laughter, faith, and light.
Born on November 14, 2013, Savannah brought a remarkable joy to the world during her 12 years. Her impact could never be measured simply by her many accomplishments, but by the way she made people feel. She had a gift for making her friends laugh, making people feel seen, and bringing an unmistakable energy into every room she entered. Savannah lived boldly and unapologetically as herself; spirited, confident, compassionate, and full of love.
Savannah previously attended McNair Middle School, where she served as a Student Ambassador in both fifth and sixth grades. This year, she attended Woodland Junior High School, where she was a proud member of the seventh-grade dance team and was eagerly looking forward to running track in the upcoming season. She was as intelligent as she was spirited and proudly enrolled in all Honors courses.
Savannah’s faith became an increasingly important part of her life. She boldly professed her faith in her Lord at Cross Church and also worshiped at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Her faith was a beautiful reflection of the hope and love she carried with her.
And then there was dancing.
For Savannah, dancing was never simply an activity or a hobby. It was a part of who she was. When Savannah danced, she was completely and joyfully herself. She came alive on the stage, earning numerous awards and competition wins along the way. Whether she was dancing at her mom’s studio, watching someone else perform, or filming her own videos with hopes of going “viral,” Savannah found endless happiness in music, movement, and performance.
Savannah was a true spitfire, equal parts sass, spice, and sparkle. She possessed an enthusiasm for life that was impossible to miss. She was funny, fearless, determined, and fiercely loyal to the people she loved. Her laughter was contagious. Her energy was unforgettable. She had a way of making ordinary moments feel special simply because she was there.
Most of all, Savannah loved deeply and was deeply loved.
Savannah is survived by her adoring parents, Erin Wheatley-Parker and Dr. Jonathan and Paula Parker; her best friends – sister Wheatley Parker and brother Reynolds Parker, and brothers Sebastian Marzana, and Diego Marzana; and her beloved fur siblings, Millie, Minnie, Milo, and Ollie.
She is also survived by her grandparents, Kathy and George Wheatley, Beverly and Mike Parker, Priscilla Hout, and Carlos Flores; her God parents Cheryl and Tom Erman; her aunts and uncles, Gina (Ross) Downs, Amy (Roger) Hoover, Michael (Tracie) Parker, Holly (David) Gay, Robby (Janie) Sanders, Wendy (Lester) Langley, Carlos Daniel Flores, and Rodrigo Flores; and her many beloved cousins, including Earl Ross Downs III, Emily Downs Martin, Evan Downs, Ellis Downs, Ross Evrett Downs, Peyton Hoover, Mason Hoover, Carter Hoover, Mitchell Parker, Emily Watson, Anna Kate Parker, Logan Travis, Layton Wheeler, Maria Laura Flores, Carlos Gabriel Flores, Nicolas Flores, Mickayla Flores, and many others who loved her dearly, including her Legacy dance family.

Savannah’s life may have been far too short, but it was extraordinarily full.
What Savannah brought into this world is what she leaves behind – her light.
That is Savannah’s legacy.
She lives on in every song that makes your foot tap, your hips sway, or your head bob. She lives on in the sparkle of the stars, in the warmth of the sunshine on your skin, and in the laughter of the people she loved and those who were fortunate enough to love her. She lives on in every dancer who finds freedom in the music and every person who chooses to live boldly, joyfully, and authentically.
And now, Savannah dances in the arms of Jesus, where her light will never fade.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9
A funeral service, officiated by Dr. Nick Floyd, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Cross Church Springdale Campus. The service will be available to view live at crosschurch.com. Private burial will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Savannah’s memory through the Savannah Grace Parker Endowment Fund. Established in her loving memory, the fund will provide scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing dance in college and grants to support young dancers in Fayetteville Public Schools who may face financial barriers. Through this endowment, Savannah’s love of dance and the joy she brought to others will continue to shine for generations to come.
