Dianne Bowman Bassett, age 80, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
She was born on February 16, 1946, in Ada Oklahoma. Dianne completed high school in Siloam Springs Arkansas and obtained an accounting degree from University of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ambrose Bowman, Thelma Fern Link Bowman and a sister, Gail Bowman Marveggio.
In addition to raising her family, Dianne held numerous roles ranging from secretarial to office management. Dianne was a member of Christ Church, and a former member of the Jaycettes. She enjoyed antiques, specializing in advertising signs and trays, as a hobby and later operated an antique store in Springdale Arkansas. Her hobbies included sewing, landscaping, gardening, restoring furniture and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors are her husband, Lonnie Gene Bassett; daughters, Beverly Jones, Kimberly Cagnolatti; grandchildren, Emily Williams, Brian Jones, Kevin Cagnolatti, Adam Cagnolatti; great-grandchildren, Braelyn Williams, Brynlee Williams and Samuel Jones.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, at Christ Church in Fayetteville. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
