Dustin Marshall Alderson, 36, passed away surrounded by the love of his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his nephew Brandon Jr. and by his father, Marshall “Bud” Alderson. He was born on September 21, 1989, in Fayetteville and passed away June 8th 2026 in his home.
Dustin is survived by his mother, Jana Cavness of Bentonville, Ark.; his daughter, Averie Alderson, who was the light of his life; and his siblings, Katrina, Robert, Jessica and Jayme. He was also cherished by a large circle of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews; Stormi, Brooke, Colton, Briget, Trevor, Serenity, Aaron, Allison, Acin, Antonio, Alexanderia, Adelina and Asher who adored their uncle Dustin.
Dustin lived a life full of curiosity, humor, and heart. He loved fishing, camping, cooking, all kinds of music and setting in with a good book. Whether outdoors by the water or gathered around a kitchen table, he brought warmth and laughter whenever he went.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 13, 2026, at 6 p.m. at First Christian Church in Bentonville. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor Dustin’s life and the joy he brought to so many.
