Phillip Harrison Auslam, 69, of Fayetteville; passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at home. He was born Monday, March 18, 1957, at La Habra, California; to Paul Norris and Etta June Harrison Auslam.

Phillip was a graduate of Fayetteville High School and worked as a press operator for many years. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially fishing and spending time with animals. He had a special love for dogs and cats, including his beloved dog, Buddy. Phillip had a kind and gentle spirit and never missed an opportunity to tell those he cared about, “I love you.” He enjoyed listening to The Beatles, cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks, and was a member of Goshen Church of Christ.
Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Etta Auslam; and one brother, Paul Auslam, Jr.
He is survived by his brother and two sisters-in-law, Tim and Dede Auslam, of Fayetteville; and LuAnn Auslam, of Elkins; one son, Seth McCormick, of Russellville; and his lifetime friend, David Sanford, of Fayetteville. Phillip is also survived by two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Goshen Church of Christ. Interment will immediately follow at Bohannan Mountain Cemetery. The family will host a potluck lunch after cemetery services at the Goshen Church of Christ.
Cremation is entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
