Patsy Ann Kester, age 67, passed away May 9, 2026, at the Maples Nursing Home in Springdale where she was lovingly cared for. She was born on August 7, 1958, in Fayetteville to James Earl Moore & Iva Barker Moore.

She was a member of the Farmington First Church of the Nazarene. Patsy had attended Church there for many years and enjoyed teaching children’s Sunday School classes. Patsy was a 1976 graduate of Farmington High School. She later attended University of Arkansas where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She worked for many years at the Mullins Library & the Biology of Science Dept at the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville. She enjoyed spending time with friends & family.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, nieces, and her brother, Jerry Moore.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, David Kester. Three Brothers; Leon Moore (Rose) of Lincoln, Henry Moore of Topeka, Kansas, and William Moore (Nancy) of Elkins; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Farmington First Church of the Nazarene with the funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. under the direction of Moore’s Chapel. A graveside service will take place at Elan Memorial Park in Lime Ridge, Pennsylvania, on Friday May 15, 2026, at 3 p.m. under the direction of Dean W. Kiner Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
