Emily Sue Weible Martin, 85, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away May 4, 2026, at her home.
Emily was born April 12, 1941, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Theodore Weible and Anna Mildred Plumlee Weible. She grew up and attended schools in Arkansas.
On May 27, 1961, she married Robert Harry Martin in Pocatello, Idaho. Emily and Robert made their home in the Salmon area, where Emily worked as a cook for the North Fork Cafe.
She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors and taking care of others.
Emily is survived by her daughter, Donna (Bernabe) Ortega of Rigby, Idaho; daughter, Linda (Bill) Kriskey of Elko, Nevada; daughter, Brenda Bowen of Severance, Colo.; sister, Alene of California; sister, Dorothy of Texas; 3 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Mildred Weible; her husband, Robert Harry Martin; brother, Walter Weible; brother, Bill Weible; sister, Irene Dossett; and brother, Robert “Bobby” Weible.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
