Marsha Garrett, age 71, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away on January 31, 2026. She was born in Sunflower, Kansas on September 30, 1954 to Raymond Garrett and Ella Marie Davidson.
Marsha is preceded in death by her parents and her grandmother Dora Amelia DeMint.
She is survived by her sisters Brenda Garrett and Tammie Clark (Timothy), niece Natalie Hedrick (Chris), and nephew Blake Donaubauer (Teahnna), great-nephew Blue and great-niece Eleanor.
Marsha was a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ and Sunday School teacher for 20 years. She was a teacher at Cabot High School for 40 years before retiring. She was also an English instructor at Pulaski Tech and ASU Beebe. She was a published author.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. with the funeral service starting at 10 a.m. in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville. Interment to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Memorials can be made to the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ Children’s Program and the Sothern Christian Children’s Home in Morrilton.
