Diamond Ann Garton

Diamond Garton, 92 of Fayetteville passed away on December 14, 2025, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. Diamond was born on April 10th, 1933, in Lawton Oklahoma to Hesse and Albert Grigg. She is currently enjoying a heavenly reunion with her loved ones who have passed before her.

Diamond was married to Ken Garton for over 62 years and together they raised four children. Diamond was a devoted wife and mother. She was a tremendous cook and had the gift of hospitality. 

Diamond was a hairdresser and operated a salon out of her home for many years. After retiring, she drove a special needs school bus for the Roger’s school district for many years, and it was one of the greatest blessings of her life to work with those kids.

Diamond was preceded in death by her husband Ken and their children Gary Garton, and Vicky Hillian, Parents; Albert and Hesse Grigg, Siblings; Ellis Grigg, Kelso Grigg, Nova Dell Wilson, Juanita Telford, Gilbert Grigg, Norman Grigg.

She is survived by her children Debby Langston and her husband Andy Langston, Brett Garton and his wife Julia Garton, Grandchildren; Travis Garton (Polly), Jason Garton (Amber), Tiffany Edgemon (Kerry), Brandon Eubanks (Lisa), Vanessa Hillian, Ashley Keylor (Dasun), Sarah Langham (John), Mary Gwin, and twelve Great Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2025, at Brashears Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow services at Upper Campground Cemetery, Huntsville, AR. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Diamond’s name may be made to Special Olympics Arkansas, 2115 Main Street, North Little Rock, AR, 72114.

Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
