Mary Elizabeth Caldwell, age 83, of Fayetteville passed away on November 8, 2025, at Shiloh Nursing and Rehab in Springdale.
She was born on January 20, 1942, in Wilmington, Del., to David C. Gladney and Mary Frances (Gowen) Gladney. Mary worked for the University of Arkansas, where she was an instructor in accounting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Mary Frances Gladney; and brother, George Gladney.
Mary is survived by her husband, Charles Caldwell; daughters, Sara Bouley and husband Joe of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Claire Hobbs and husband Scott of Fayetteville; and six grandchildren.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Circle of Life Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. There will be a private family service.
