Robert “Bobby” Davis, 56 of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014, in Fayetteville. He was born April 17, 1957 in Fayetteville to Bryce Davis and Betty (Teeter) Davis.
He was owner and operator of Eason Insurance Agency Inc. and was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
Bobby was very active in his community where he faithfully chaired many boards at Central United Methodist Church, boards at Mount Sequoyah, Fayetteville Parks and Recreation, Fayetteville Advertising and Promotion, Fayetteville alderman 1999-2004, member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and was a member of the Northside Rotary Club where he was a Paul Harris Fellow.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Davis, two daughters, Sarah Margaret Davis of Dallas, Texas, Laura Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and one sister, Debbie Davis of Puerto Rico.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, February 22, at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. J. Anthony Holifield , Dr. Jack A Wilson, and Dr. John C. Robbins officiating. Private burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
