The Special Collections Department of the University Libraries at the University of Arkansas has created an archive of collections related to Fayetteville and to the university itself. Manuscript collections and publications of faculty and administrators are listed below by institutional unit followed by the name of the collection, its call number and a link to the finding aid for that collection if one exists.
Most collections are kept offsite at a temperature-controlled storage facility. A collection can be requested at the same time as reservation period for at the Special Collections studio in the lower floor of Mullins Library.
Abbreviations on the call numbers below are usually MC for Manuscript Collection or MS for a single Manuscript. Typically, the pieces of a collection are held in folders that are then maintained in boxes. Some have restrictions on use and publication.
