One of the displays in the Historic Courthouse archives office.
The Washington County Archives Office will have exhibits on display as well as tours of the vaults holding the county's earliest records.
Among the exhibits are one that shows items that were sealed in a time capsule when the Historic Courthouse was built and opened in 2005 for the centennial of the courthouse. Another exhibit shows materials found during the recent renovation of the courthouse.
The Archives Office is on the second floor of the Historic Washington County Courthouse and will be open for tours during the reopening of the courthouse on Sept. 18.
