Across the grounds of the Western Methodist Assembly, the summer cottages used by the assembly for guests can be seen along the perimeter of the property. Atop Mount Sequoyah, 400 acres of park-like land were donated by the city of Fayetteville to the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, in 1920 for the church’s use as the Western Methodist Assembly. Today, the park is called the Mount Sequoyah Retreat Center, and it hosts conferences and seminars. Postally unused, this C.T. Amerian Art card was printed by the Curt Teich Company of Chicago, Illinois.
