Mrs. Cornelia Adams, 82, of 145 E. Meadow St., died Friday [Oct. 14, 1966] in a Lonoke nursing home. She was born Feb. 3, 1894, in Charleston, the daughter of George and Virginia Byrd, and was a member of St. James Methodist Church.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Ocie May Jordan of the home; two brothers, Otha Byrd of Fort Smith and James Byrd of Muskogee, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Richardson and Mrs. Susie Richardson of Muskogee and Mrs. Nora Miller of Fort Smith; four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. James Methodist Church with burial in Oak Cemetery under direction of Nelson’s Funeral Home.
