Funeral Service Held For Osiah Smith
Osiah Smith, 60, Negro, died December 24. He was born in Louisiana but had lived in Fayetteville most of his life. He was a deacon in the St. James Baptist Church. Four grandchildren survive him.
Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock by the Rev. G.E. Wright, pastor of St. James Baptist Church, and the Rev. A.L.
Buchanan, pastor of St. James Methodist Church. Burial was in Oak Cemetery under the direction of Watson’s Mortuary.
