Funeral services for Albert “Gib” Wilson, 28-year-old negro, who was shot and killed Monday noon by Frans Burkett, were held at three o’clock this afternoon from the home of his mother, Mrs. Rebecca Blackburn near the Fair Grounds. Interment was in the negro cemetery south of the Federal Cemetery.
