Cora Nettleship

Mrs. Cora Nettleship, wife of Mr. Cumming Nettleship, died at 11 o’clock this morning at the family home, three miles north of town. At a family reunion and Thanksgiving dinner at her home yesterday, she was the merriest of the company. She was taken ill at 9 o’elcek last night, and within fourteen hours, passed from robust healh into the sleep that knows no waking. She leaves a husband, a four-year-old son and an infant for whom she gave her life. She was a beautiful type of Christian character, kind, dutiful and considerate, and bright and cheery, buoyant with health gene happiness. She was in the 26th year of her age, and though death never seems more cruel than when it comes to the young mother and wife, it is some comfort to reflect that she had lived much in the brief span of her ex- istence, that little of the bitterness and most that is sweet in life was encompassed in the days of her pilgrimage and that she has forever escaped all the evils of mortality.
