Elizabeth, the three-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Skelton, died very suddenly last night at her home. one mile north of town. The little
girl was sitting at the supper table when she complained of feeling badly, and died at 9:30. A few minutes after she was taken ill it was apparent that she was a very sick child, and a physician was summoned at once
who promptly responded to the call. Her case was diagnosed as acute diphtheria, and all remedies failed to arrest the progress of the disease. Elizabeth was a bright and attractive child and her sudden taking away has left a desolated household.
