Opened about 1968 on East Huntsville Road on the southeast corner of its intersection with 15th Street. Early commercial tenants included Watson’s Grocery, a Collier Drug Store branch, United Dollar Store, McCrory’s, the Flamingo Drive-in, C&C Hardware Store, DeForest Coiffures and an H&R Block branch during tax season.
